What is CBI Program?

CBI (Citizenship by Investment) program is among the oldest in the world. It has been in operation for almost 30 years. Applicants have several investing options and can acquire passports for their family members. The minimum investment amount is $250,000.

St Kitts and Nevis Passport for Foreigners

Foreign nationals who wish to have a solid plan B can choose to get a St Kitts and Nevis passport. The appealing part is that you do not have to fly to the islands to obtain your new citizenship. The whole process can be done remotely.

Here are 3 main routes to get the passport:

Donation to the Sustainable Growth Fund (SGF) was changed to donation to the Sustainable Island State Contribution Fund (SISC) starting from July 27, 2023.

The real estate option implies that you invest a minimum of $400,000 into a government-approved real estate project.

Two or more applicants may invest $400,000 each in private real estate.

Investing in real estate can be done in two ways: putting money into commercial projects or purchasing private property.

Citizenship for You and Your Family

Not only your children but also your closest family members will have the opportunity to get a new passport — for example, your spouse, your or your spouse’s parents.

To qualify for CBI as an additional applicant, parents must be older than 65 y.o. and depend financially on the investor.

St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship Benefits

Our goal is simple – provide successful entrepreneurs and investors with high-level services to solve their problems by reducing their taxes, getting second citizenship and investing overseas.

150+ visa-free travel states

Passport holders enjoy full Schengen privileges and can travel to around 156 countries worldwide, either without a visa or with a visa on arrival. No visa is required to visit the United Kingdom, Ireland, Singapore, Hong Kong, Russia, Brazil, and more. Getting visas to other countries like the UAE, Vietnam, or South Africa is super simple.

Favorable taxation

When becoming a citizen of St Kitts and Nevis, you are exempt from an income tax as well as inheritance, wealth, gift, and capital taxes. The country’s tax residents do not pay dividends, royalties, or interest taxes.

10-year US visa

With a St Kitts and Nevis passport, you are welcome to enter the United States after getting a B-1/B-2 10-year visa. Investors can stay in the US for 180 consecutive days and have access to business matters, medical treatment, and tourism.

Business prospects

You can ease the process of working with your business partners by establishing a company in a country. One of the advantages is that there are no exchange control regulations. Plus, the information about beneficial owners of companies is confidential: the data is disclosed only to registration agents and banks, and access to it is not public.

Dual citizenship

St Kitts and Nevis citizenship allows you to keep your previous passports unless there are no restrictions from the other country. You can become a country’s citizen without even visiting the islands.

Great vacation location

St Kitts and Nevis is located on two picturesque islands in the Caribbean. You can plan a vacation there and enjoy white or black sandy beaches, tropical forests, a warm climate, the beautiful Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, and much more. Owning a local passport will let you stay in this magnificent place for however much you want.

No language or history tests

To participate in the CBI program, you do not need to take an Oath, any language, history, or other tests as it is often required in other countries. Moreover, you can go through the whole process remotely.

Inheritable Citizenship

Citizenship of St Kitts and Nevis is hereditary. If an investor already has children younger than 25, they can be included in the application and get citizenship at an extra cost. In case the child is born after the applicant obtains citizenship, the newborn will be eligible for citizenship by descent at no additional charge.

Caribbean Community Citizen

Saint Kitts and Nevis Economic Citizenship Programme grants permanent residence in most member countries of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), which includes 15 Caribbean states.

Total privacy

The state does not share information about its citizens and their property with third parties. Your participation in the investment program will remain secret.

Possible Drawbacks

Mandatory Interview

From July 27, 2023, new rules were introduced: an applicant must pass a mandatory interview either online or in person at a consulate, embassy, or in St Kitts and Nevis.

Not the Cheapest CBI

Due to drastic changes, the St Kitts and Nevis CBI is no longer the most cost-effective program for obtaining citizenship. The minimum investment required was doubled from $125,000 to $250,000.
